A good friend of mine sent me a video about plans to recreate the old castle fortifications of Cherbourg using computer technology. In the future, visitors can hold up a computer tablet device and see where towers, walls, gates and old buildings once stood. I think it's a great idea and certainly a lot less cheaper than recreating the real thing. I realize the video is in French but I think just looking at the images will give you some idea of what I'm talking about. Enjoy the photos I took this morning before my French class.
