De captivants à banals, les articles et photographies de “The Baguette” sont une tentative de publier un journal de ma vie dans la Manche et de proposer un forum de discussion pour tout ce qui touche à la Normandie.
Last night I went to le restaurant Pékin in Cherbourg which is owned by two friends of mine from my French class at Maison Pour Tous. They were so kind to allow us to gather at their place of business to ring in the New Year. 


We started our New Year's Eve celebration with several dishes including spicy Peking-style soup, glazed duck, chicken with mushrooms, egg rolls, mango and shrimp salad and several different desserts including sorbet and chocolates.
I enjoyed spending time with my friends instead of staying home alone. We didn't leave until 1:30 in the morning -- I was so tired ! Sadly, I did not take many photos but I wanted to post these few and take the time to wish everyone happiness in the New Year.
