I made all of the traditional foods including turkey, sage stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes and a huge pecan pie. I didn't have enough pecans to make the filling so I improvised and used two cups of pistachios instead. It was delicious ! The two photos, above and below, show the pie before it was cooked and the top became a perfect, rich, caramelized brown.
